Welcome to the New Site26/03/2008 |
Why is there a new site?
This has arose from a need to bring gamesoc.org up to date with the new committee´s ideas; to replace the apparently copyright infringing old logo with a more lawyer friendly logo, as well as having a more aesthitically centred appearance.
Technically the site is closer to the pre-forums incarnation, with the forums now a completely seperate entity to the main site.
This does means the log ins, are different for this site and members shall receive their new passwords via e-mail shortly.
If you have any comments or suggestions re:new site. e-mail me at Web@gamesoc.org

Hey guys, For those of you who didn't attend the AGM this Saturday, I have been elected the president of gamesoc. Here is the new committee as of the AGM: President: Thomas Hasler (thats me) Secretary: Andrew Johnstone Treasurer: Christopher Thompson Webmaster(now merged with Trogdor): Andy Diack Publicity: Kenneth Benton Kit Monkey:Sean Roberson Ordinary Member: Alisdair Rainkine I want to give a big thanks to our old committee, especially Alan, who gave up their free time to make last year events happen. Although there won't be any events till next semester I've already started to work with the new committee to: a) Fix some of the existing problems with the society. b) Organise all of the events for next year. there is a lot to look forward to next year - including Rock Band and brawl so I hope to see all you guys next year. Cheers! -Tom
